Measuring Your Fat Loss Success (Video)

Knowing whether or not your fat loss program is working is an extremely important part of fast fat loss because if you know what is going on in your body you can quickly and easily makes the necessary changes. Unfortunately many people just occasionally step on the scale and make guesses at whether or not they are progressing with their fat loss at an acceptable rate.

In this video I go over the importance of using multiple units of measure and what those units should be.

Friday Fat Loss Grab Bag

I wanted to send a quick thanks to all you reader of the Naked Nutrition Network. Last month was our best month in regards to traffic to the site and this month has been even better. I appreciate you taking the time to read the stuff on the site and post comments. Next week I’ll collect a bunch of questions that people had in their comments and run some QnA (maybe a video blog – if I can get my hair cut).

I posted a new video on protein intake and if you didn’t read yesterdays post on protein safety the two go together very well.

If you aren’t familiar with the 6 Pillars of Nutrition you can see a new video on it here and also read the article here.

The most popular posts on the site are:

1. Grocery Store Scams

2. 10 Weight Loss Tips Guaranteed to Work

3. Stages of Nutrition

So be sure to check those out if you haven’t already.

If you have any questions you would like to to answer/address in the QnA next week post them below as a comment.

How Much Protein Do I Need?

How much protein should you have in your diet? This is a controversial topic. Yesterday I covered some of the false information about protein safety. In this video I discuss recommendations for protein intake, why the RDA is not a good marker for setting protein intake and how it is safe to eat 30% of your calories from protein. Post a comment and let me know what you think. Note: At the very end of the video I mis-speak and say ‘carbohydrates’ but I meant to say ‘protein’.
