In this video you will learn about the 2 kinds of stomach fat and what food may be able to target the bad kind (i.e. visceral fat). In regards to the food that can target visceral fat…whole grains. I know surprising. The research was done in my lab. Personally I’m not completely convinced of the finds as the mechanism in which this occurs in the body hasn’t been fully worked out. My lab is currently running another study to further examine this phenomenon. I’ll keep you posted on the ‘whole grains target visceral fat’ story.
